Event Offerings

Fees listed below don’t include tax or gratuity.  Tax is 11.43% and gratuity is 20%. Any event booking space will require a contract with La Posada hotel for the site fee and Turquoise Room for the catering fees.  Fees will be collected separately for both companies.  Fees can range depending on the event.

General Information on Rooms and Property

No outside food or beverages permitted.  All food and beverages must be catered from the Turquoise Room.  Please reach out to Dennis the property coordinator for Turquoise Room and La Posada Hotel reservations, 928-289-2888.

Depending on the season, some grass and flowers will be dormant.

All Events must end at 9 PM.  If a customer were to buy out the whole hotel, he or she will have the restaurant available for a 2-hour window for private dining.  For dinner the choice is either 5-7 PM or 7-9 PM.  Breakfast could be from 7-9 AM or 9-11 AM.  Please note if dining at the later choices there could be other customers left over from dinner or breakfast.  The Turquoise Room will open to the public immediately after the 2 hours.

La Posada has at least 50 paved parking spots.  There is a dirt lot on the east side of property for overflow parking.  Currently, there is construction going on so please let us know if you plan on using the dirt lot.  There is parking on the street as well.  Buy outs of the hotel must pay in full, 60 days from the event.

At no time will car groups perform oil changes on their cars.  We are an environment protected location.  The dirt lot can’t be used for speed tests or closed for private events.  That lot is shared with employee parking and customers with RVs.

Check-in is at 3:00 P.M.  Check-out is 11:00 AM.  Reservations may be increased if rooms are available but may only be decreased 30 days before arrival. Late check-out may incur additional charges.

The deposit is refundable up to 30 days before the arrival date.  A 25% deposit is due when the hotel contract is signed. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the arrival date. If the completed contract is not received within 10 business days, your rooms will be released.

The group discount is only available for 10 or more rooms.  If your group drops below 10 rooms the discount is no longer available.

Pets are welcome with an additional $10 fee, $50 deposit, and signed pet policy agreement. All pets must be registered upon check in.

No outside food or beverages are allowed on property.  Turquoise Room will have to do all catering if you want something special setup please contact Dennis. Turquoise Room is open for breakfast from 7 AM to 10:45 AM.  Lunch is from 11 AM to 2 PM.  The Traveler’s menu is offered from 2-4.  We are closed from 4-5 PM.  We have Dinner from 5 PM to 9 PM.  Our last reservation seating is at 8:30 PM.  The bar will be open until 9:30 PM daily, we may close a little early if we don’t get any guests for long stretches of time. Please inquire with Dennis about special adjusted times and closures of the restaurant if you plan to come to the Turquoise Room. In the winter we did not serve the Traveler’s menu and are closed from 2-5.

La Posada property accepts no liability for guests lost or stolen property.

La Posada is a non-smoking hotel. Therefore, a $150 cleaning fee will be charged if we have to clean a room that has been smoked in.  This includes open flames such as candles, lanterns etc. Smoking is allowed anywhere outside near an ashtray.

Customer assumes responsibility for all damage caused by customer(s) in guest rooms and in public spaces.

Do not walk onto the railroad tracks. The railroad tracks are patrolled by BNSF Police, and it is trespassing. Please inform your guests.

A $50 re-Key fee will be assessed for keys that are not returned, as locks must be re-keyed. The group coordinator will be responsible for payment of these so please inform your customers to bring the keys back to the hotel.

Currently we can’t block room charges.  Please inform your customers that if they charge to the room, they must pay it before checking out or otherwise the group coordinator will be responsible for payment. If your customers are having breakfast and immediately checking out, it is best they pay the server.  Charges could take a bit to appear in the system and they could have a balance due after departure that the group coordinator will be responsible for paying.

Final Payment, Rooming List and Portage Contract are due 30 days before the arrival date.

If you should need security for your event, you will be responsible for hiring that.  Please inform the events coordinator if you should be getting security.

We only have maroon tablecloths, anything else will be on your responsibly to purchase elsewhere, bring in, and apply.  We don’t offer seat covers.

Portage/Baggage Service

If your group requires portage/baggage assistance a contract is required, please make prior arrangements with the group coordinator. Portage Contract is due 30 days before the arrival date. If the contract is not received by 5:00 PM on the specified date, portage services will not be available.

Payment for portage services will be collected on the specified date and will be determined by the number of bags indicated on the Portage Contract. There will be additional charges for bags in excess of the contracted quantity.
