Construction on the Winslow Arts Trust Museum is proceeding rapidly on the east side of La Posada Hotel. The museum is housed in the re-purposed original La Posada train station and will feature a mix of contemporary art and historic artifacts. The first phase of construction is scheduled to be completed by February 2018 and the museum will open to the public in the fall of 2018. This image shows Gallery F under construction. This gallery will have dramatic views of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad to the south and of the sculpture garden to the north. The historic 502 Pleasure Dome railroad car is visible to the right and will also be a part of the museum.
